The True Blood calendar we auctioned off last month sold for $850 to a Billsbabe.
The auction winner wrote us:
I’m so excited about the calendar; but much more important is the chance to contribute to the Brentwood Theatre. I had been feeling guilty for not having bought a brick a couple years ago; I decided that even if I didn’t win, I was going to make a sizeable donation. I had bid unsuccessfully on the other calendars, and even on the Bullet Magazine for FTA, an equally good cause. Anyway, I saw what it would take to win, and decided to go for it! I may have to take out a second mortgage soon (just kidding), but it’s worth it.
Mark Reed, administrator of Brentwood Theatre:
This donation has gone to Crownfield Infant School, who we have helped before. So can you please pass on our thanks to the purchaser for their generosity which means that 90 kids from Crownfield can come along to see the show which is just absolutely amazing. And thank you, you lovely fans of Stephen Moyer, for keeping this going.
The 2011 children’s Christmas show will be Jemima Puddle-Duck and her friends. We all know and love the stories of Beatrix Potter and this colorful musical tells four of them: Jemima Puddle-Duck, the tale of Squirrel Nutkin, the tale of Jeremy Fisher and the tale of Samuel Whiskers.
You can make a direct donation to the Stephen Moyer Kids Theatre Fund using the below PayPal button that was provided by Mark P. Reed, administrator of Brentwood Theatre.
