Remembering the great Stan Lee who passed yesterday at 95

Stan Lee

Yesterday we lost an icon of the superhero world; the great Stan Lee who died at age 95. Mr. Lee was a central player in the creation of iconic characters and more of Marvel Comics. He, and his very creative mind will be missed.

Stephen Moyer’s series, The Gifted owes a lot to Stan Lee as we all do. Mr. Lee, who was one of the creators of Marvel comics and many of it’s characters, and he endorsed and is associated with The Gifted. He even made a guest cameo appearance in the very first eposide of the Fox show, see a screenshot of him below:

He was bigger than life, but such a nice man. Even Stephen Moyer “geeked out” about Mr. Lee. back in July 2017 at Comic-con, when he posted a photo of himself with Mr. Lee on Instagram and posted it again after hearing of Mr. Lee’s passing.

See it below:

Stephen Moyer hangs out with the legend himself. Steve captioned the photo with:

Stan Lee reflects on his incredible legacy.

100 years from now if somebody should bring up my name…it would be nice if people say ‘Jeez, I thought he was a good writer, his stories gave me a lot of pleasure‘”

Watch an incredible interview Lee held with CBS a few years ago below:

The creator of such superheroes as Spider-man, Iron Man, the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, Stan Lee was a comic book genius whose characters have made him a superhero himself to legions of fans. In the video, Lee talks with correspondent Lee Cowan on CBS “Sunday Morning” on January 17, 2016, about a fantastic life story that, fittingly, was published in comic-book form.
