The Official Trailer
Trailer 1:
Cast images:
- This is the sixth “X-Men” TV series, but only the second one to be in live-action.
- The series is influenced by Peter David’s X-Men comic “X-Factor”, where the X-Men formed an agency to investigate mutant-related incidents.
- As all Stephen Moyer fans know, Steve plays Reed and is married to Anna Paquin who played Rogue in X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
- Lorna Dane was introduced in the original X-Men comic (1963-1971) in issue #49 and had green hair and magnetic powers. She was suspected to be the daughter of Magneto and it was confirmed after the events of the Genoshan mutant genocide. She quickly became the love interest of both Iceman (Bobby Drake) and Cyclops (Scott Summers) younger brother Havoc (Alex Summers). (The Fox movies made Scott the younger brother).
Pre-Order The Gifted Season 1 on DVD. Are you chomping at the bit to get your hands on The Gifted Season 1 on DVD? Well, Amazon has already started production!
We don’t yet know the availability date, but Amazon is taking advance orders for the DVDs. Presumably, the DVD’s will be released as soon as the last episode airs, which should be sometime in December, or just in time to add it to your wish list for holiday shopping!
Pricing is available, however, at $39.98 SRP. There are no other details available so far at Amazon’s entry, but there is early box art (seen below; this may not be finalized yet and could be subject to change). There is no Blu-ray Disc pre-order listing…but Fox is moving away from TV-BD releases, so may possibly have decided not to create a Blu-ray version of it.
