1. I was absolutely stunned by the finale, and not necessarily in a good
way. I have no sympathy for Warlow. He’s a monster, and I’m glad he’s
gone. Too bad we couldn’t have seen more of Niall, but at least he
returned in time to help Jason kill Warlow. Pam set out to find Eric. I
hope she arrives in time to save him. Not sure how she’ll do that but
there is always hope. He looks doomed but you never know. Eric is such
an integral part of True Blood. I can’t believe he is gone. I don’t
imagine Sookie and Alcide will last. And Bill has returned to his
normal vampire ways … goodbye, sirens and Lilith. Thank goodness!!!
Lots of strange stuff in this one … Sam is mayor of BT, Merlottes Bar and Grill now belongs to Arlene?  Bottom line for me:  OUR BILL IS BACK!   I take heart in that.  YES!!!!!!!!

  2. THANKS!

The very best part of this was when he said that Sookie and Alcide seem to be in love and domesticated but that can’t last, and he laughs.
Great finale` in a lot of ways. i am now looking forward to season seven whereas before I had lost hope for a Bill and Sookie reunion but that hope is now rekindled!

  3. I was surprised that I enjoyed the finale as much as I did, especially considering how unimpressed I was overall when the spoilers leaked. But the show mostly pulled it off and made me really interested in a Bon Temps-centric season 7.
I’d be lying if I said that the return of Bill wasn’t a big reason I enjoyed the finale as much as I did. Seeing Bill introspective and brooding and honorable and caring for Sookie…sigh, that’s my Bill. Even the small scene where he glamoured Takahashi was just so very Bill, and I loved it.
The rest was a toss-up for me. I love Jess vowing to protect Andy and his daughter. I only care about Sookie/Alcide in that I’m curious how long it’ll take for her to cheat on a nice, normal guy with Bill. Those looks between Bill and Sookie…
The pairing up of vamps and humans could get awkward, of course, but it’ll be interesting to see who gets thrown together.
The ending definitely built the suspense for season 7, with Bill and Alcide sniffing out the roving band of Hep V vamps. I’m hoping the vamps on site will be strong enough to fend them off and take them out.
