  1. IMHO, this is huge that True Blood got nominated! It means that the industry has finally taken notice of this wonderful, creative and excellent show. And, there will be lots of red carpet photos to look at and a ton of buzz for the show. YIPPEE! I’m so happy for everyone associated with the show!!!! This is great news!

  2. AWESOME!!! Congratulations to True Blood’s cast, crew and production staff. It’s about time that the show was recognized for the entertaining, creative and outstanding show that it is.

Lynn, you are so right … lots of buzz and red carpet photos to look forward to. YEA!!

  3. Well deserved however, when is Nelsan Ellis going to get his nomination for best supporting actor in a drama? This man is off the charts talented!

  4. I totally agree Lynn.
I am thrilled Emmy is waking up and recogonizing what a great show TB is.
Congrats to all involved. Hopefully next year we will see some individual noms for cast members. Stephen should have had been nominated in season one and he has set the bar even higher in the first 3 episodes of this season.
Emmy allow me to introduce you to a real leading man , Stephen Moyer.

    1. i agree totally, willkill! stephen also deserves a nod. i don’t see how they can possibly pass him up for his s3 work.

and i can’t ignore my man, nelsan! there are no words to adequately describe what that man brings to the screen.

this is all very good. emmy realized it did not make sense to ignore the most popular show on tv.

oh yeah…can’t overlook AB…congrats AB, this puts you back in the (emmy nominated) saddle…right where you belong.

    2. Agree with you, willkill!! Stephen SO should have at least been nominated for Season One but I don’t see how he can not be nominated and even win for this season…he is the standout actor/character of season three by far!

I’m happy at least the show was recognized.

  5. Kudos to Alan Ball and the cast and crew of TB! Its about time!
Start thinking about a speech Stephen- next year we’ll see you accept the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Dramatic Series!
