Yes, I read the books and I still love Bill

I wonder how many times have we’ve said this to Eric fans who continue to try to convince the Bill fans that once we’d read the books we will surely switch to the dark side, drop our gentleman vampire and throw ourselves in the arms of the viking. It’s not going to happen. The Billsbabes will stay true to their man  huh…. vampire no matter what! And you can show it to the world with the latest addition to the Billsbabe’s Shoppe, t-shirt, mugs, caps, bags, etc..

The Billsbabe’s Shoppe is a non-profit – at cost fansite store. With every item purchased a small charitable donation will be made to the Brentwood Theatre in Essex, UK, of which Stephen Moyer is patron.

seriously. even on the charllaine harris messageboard you can see that bill has a large devoted following. everyone does not interpret things the same way and many do not view bill’s mistakes worthy of him being demonized. plus people make up mistakes he didn’t consciously make and call them things they aren’t. even charllaine has made clear what actions really were and what was within and not within bill’s power. if they think the viking is perfect i think they have some big surprises coming. hello, if sookie was meant to be with him the book series would be over already since they are married (which was a trick) and together. charllaine said sookie’s love life wouldn’t be settled until the end of the series. think about it. trouble will brew in that paradise…. i rarely comment on these things anymore on public forums, but this was so worthy.

OMG, I love it! If I have someone tell me condescendingly to “read the books” one more time, I may have to start doling out the cyber-slaps. Seriously, I have read the books (the first 8, at least), and most of those I read BEFORE the show even started tyvm.

I was always a Bill fan, but of course the luscious Stephen Moyer just took it to another level.

I started with the books and fell in love with Bill in “Dead Until Dark.” I’ve read them all, and even though Bill disappeared for great chunks of succeeding books, my love has never wavered. And then I watched True Blood, and Stephen’s portrayal of Bill took my appreciation of and love for this dark, brooding, sensitive vamp to a whole other level.

Eric has never captivated me … not the way Bill does.

I love the new design. Yep. That says it for me. I need to check it out in the shoppe.

Exactly right…I started reading the books long before the TV series and loved the Bill character. Stephen only reinforced it.

A while back, I got a t-shirt with a similar message (though not quite so politely worded) from that other site. I agree with Rowena and Lou…Bill is it for me.

Hallelujah !! Excellent design and to the point. Like many Bill devotees I was reading the books long before TB was in the making. I fell in love with Bill years ago and have not wavered one iota. That is never ever going to change no matter how much the viking camp followers try to convince me (us) otherwise. I often wonder if they read the same books. I can’t figure out why they feel the need to convince us the viking is all that. Are they trying to convince us or themselves? No one could have fleshed Bill out better than Stephen has and I am thrilled AB recognized that. Love my Bill. ♥

I also have never read one of these books. Is Stephen’s picture on every page? No? Then why bother!
