What’s Up Next for Stephen Moyer’s Production Company CASM?
When Stephen Moyer was interviewed at the HIFF (Hamptons International Film Festival), he talked about other projects that his production company, CASM is working on. He says that they are all really different films.
Below is a list of the three projects he mentioned; we think they all sound exciting.
“Lonely Werewolf Girl”
The first film he mentioned was, Lonely Werewolf Girl. He revealed that he never thought he would get involved with any “genre thing,” [probably because of True Blood] but he said it’s an extraordinary story, so they have bought the book rights to the trilogy that they are currently adapting.
Second is a project called “Twinkle” which is about a drunken hockey player who becomes a ballet teacher to six year olds. This film is directed by Howard Deutsch.
And third, there is another “dark” project called “Columbia,” a story about suicide that is written by True Blood alum, Denis O’Hare,
We look forward to seeing these films and hope that the company continues to add more and more to their repertoire. Best of luck to the CASM crew as they launch additional offerings.
Purely personal opinion, but I think "Twinkle", with the right cast, could be a sweet, tug-at-the-heartstrings film that would have wide audience appeal. The big tough guy made vulnerable by a bunch of kids is a great story line!
It's exciting to know there will be CASM projects in the future...thanks for posting!
I love you Stephen-can't wait to see you in Devils knot I read everything about that case and I'm so happy that you are in it
A diverse and most interesting trio of films. The one that immediately captured my attention was "Columbia" by Denis O'Hare. Thanks for providing what's in the works for CASM.
