The Year That Was: Stephen Moyer In 2012

What were the Stephen Moyer highlights of 2012? We took a look at the past year and listed the most important events for you to relive. What happened from January till December 2012?
And what were your favorite events of the year? Tell us in the comments.

Stephen didn’t do anything memorable in January so we kick off with the first public appearance from February.

February

Stephen and Anna attended the CIROC Vodka at 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at The City of West Hollywood Park on February 26, 2012 in Beverly Hills

March

We all know how much Stephen loves a fast car and pushing it to the limit…. in March he appeared on Top Gear USA and participated in the celebrity race “Big Stars in Small Cars”. Stephen completed the track with the fastest lap time and claimed the top spot in the classification with a time of 1.39.3! Way to go, Steve!!!

April

To thank all the fans who participated in the Facing the Atlantic fundraiser and showed their support, Stephen recorded a short “thank you” video with his mate Bertie Portal. Bertie rowed the Atlantic Ocean together with James Cash to raise funds for Facing the World.

Big and happy news was announced in April. Anna and Stephen are expecting!

Like a True Blood fairytale the couple met during Stephen’s audition for True Blood, married in Malibu in 2010 and a year later their marriage was blessed with a pregnancy.

At the end of April Stephen and Anna attended the White House Correspondent’s Dinner in Washington, D.C. Both looked very stylish on the red carpet and Anna was glowing showing off her changing figure.

‘The Pink House’ tells the story of a seventeen-year old London girl who flies to Los Angeles for the funeral of Lilly, a mother she’d barely known. They were finally released last year. The movie is based on the 2003 book Devil’s Knot: The True Story Of The West Memphis Three by investigative reporter Mara Leveritt.

A comprehensive and beautifully done recap of all things Stephen in 2012.  Well done, Shad, and Lynn.  I enjoyed all the articles and accompanying pictures.  I was most excited about the baby announcement for Stephen and Anna, which became a twins announcement ... and the birth of their little ones.  Other high points for me were:  Billsbabes Fundraising for the Brentwood Theatre; fundraising for Facing the World; Stephen's directorial debut in TB's Season 5, and the announcement that he will direct Episode 1 of Season 6; the opportunity to see Stephen on the big screen via "The Barrens" DVD.  It was a jam packed year for him, and you've kept us fans wonderfully in the loop with your thorough coverage.  Kudos to you both!!
