This is probably the best time to post this...Stephen going to the vet with Splash. Two years ago I rescued my Jack Russell
Terrier and immediately named her "Sookie" (she had been named by Animal Control as "Jackie"). I named her Sookie because of Stephen's story about the dog park woman who asked him to call her dog... named Sookie, just so she could hear him say it like Bill. I've never regretted her name, she fits it. Thank you Stephen for inspiring me, in many ways, but especially for the love of your dog and my dog's name.
You're welcome and here's the rest of the story. I've been reliably told that there's an expression in Canada and parts of Europe where the expression "sookie baby" is commonly used by children to describe a "cry baby" wussy kid and lo and behold, my Sookie is a big whiner, whimperer, and drama queen, so yes, it fits her perfectly on all counts. Now if only Stephen would grace us to call her name in that deep southern Bill voice...I'd be dead and he better take care of her ☺

It's wonderful seeing Stephen out and about. I hope Splash is doing okay. He's getting right up there age wise.
