The “Stephen Moyer Kids Theatre Fundraiser” went off to a flying start with almost 50 bricks sold and $1450 raised in just the first 2 weeks. Thank you all so much for your donations!
Lynnpd and myself met up with Stephen Moyer on Thursday (June 24) in L.A, well… Lynnpd was the hostess and thanks to modern technology I was present via Skype. Skype is great of course, but I did miss out on the kiss and the hug that Lynnpd got… maybe next time.
While Lynn got him something to drink he immediately came over to me and started talking football (soccer for you USA peeps). England passed on to the next round of the World Cup by sheer luck and no thanks to the goal keeper who turned out to be a player of Stephen’s favorite team West Ham. Ouch!
We presented Stephen with the merchandise to sign that we will be giving away as prizes in the fundraiser. Stephen was so kind to bring two more items with him for us to give away, one of those being a True Blood season 2 DVD signed by both himself and Anna Paquin. Stephen was very pleased to hear that the efforts of the Stephen Moyer Webring in support of “his” Brentwood Theatre are so successful.

While signing the t-shirts, which is a lot harder than it seems, Stephen told us that there are only four days of shooting left on the season 3 finale and that he would be doing a scene that very night together with Alexander Skarsgård (“but not in a bed”, he added jokingly). The night before he was on set with Deborah Ann Woll, Jim Parrack and Alan Ball who wrote episode 12 this year.
Having only seen the first two episodes, Stephen is looking forward as much as the fans to seeing episode 3 this Sunday. He says that it will be great season for everybody, pretty dark, but great.
He really likes “Badass Bill” and so do we!
Although Stephen admits to be horrible at keeping secrets, he didn’t reveal anything about his storyline for season 4, which is already in the making.
First he was all mysterious about season 4 and then he started teasing: “I’m not saying a word!”
Alan Ball is weird!
But with Alan Ball you’ll never know what will happen next. “Whenever Alan tells me something, it’s never what I expect it to be, because Alan is weird”, Stephen says laughing. “Whenever he tells me something I think ‘wow Bill’s going to do this and that’ and then what you actually get from Alan is so twisted and odd and so different from what you thought it might be that I have tried to stop imagining what he’s going to give me. “
There really is no reason at all to feel starstruck in the presence of Stephen Moyer. It’s obvious that he enjoys making conversation (“I don’t do silent” he said while taping the shoutout to the fans), he smiles a lot and likes to joke around.

Wow, what a great day you 2 had with “his highness”.. yes, he is our beloved, no matter what the storyline in TB is at the moment. No one can compare with his kindness and generosity when it comes to rewarding his fans for their loyalty. To be such a normal down to earth guy and still be on one of the hottest shows in TV and take the time to do this for us was appreciated more than he’ll ever know. A big Thanks for all the hard work you and Lynn did to make this possible. To say we Love Stephen Moyer just doesn’t seem to suffice any longer, we truly adore him.

Reaffirms why I am a Billsbabe not that I needed a reminder.
Stephen’s appreciation of his fans is just one of many reasons we adore him. Lynn and Shad you girls are the envy of every Billsbabe and I am sure a long list of others. It was in Lynnpd’s brand new Santa Monica apartment. I sent him the link to the wall this week, he is very busy wrapping season 3 up, but he already did take a quick look.
After finishing up True Blood he will go to Detroit to film The Double and then to Louisiana to film The Big Valley, no time for vacation.
