Stephen Moyer says Bill Compton has had a ‘rough season!’

Stephen Moyer talks to EW about Bill Compton and says that his character has had a “rough season.”  However, as a True Bill Compton lover myself, I have to disagree 100% with him.  We Bill Lovers are very satisfied with Mr. Compton this season. In fact, I’d say we had it pretty good this season with the new King Bill.  He may not have been with Sookie, but he was great in every other way.  Below is what Stephen had to tell EW:

This season has been difficult for Bill, because it’s been all about how he’s having to learn from his previous mistakes,” Moyer told EW. “If there’s anything that Bill has been guilty of in the past, it’s probably that he hasn’t been very truthful, because he’s trying to protect the person he loves and he felt Sookie wouldn’t be able to accept that truth. If that isn’t a lesson in love, I don’t know what is.” Thankfully, Moyer has a little relationship advice: “If there’s one thing he could learn, it’s that it may hurt to tell the truth, but in the long run it’s better to tell it straight up rather than hide it. Bill has to man-up — or rather, vamp-up — and do the right thing.

That’s all well and good, but what about that Eric-Sookie hookup? “We’ve seen Sookie tempted by Eric for four years, and it was just like, ‘For f—-’s sake, just get it on already,’” Moyer says. “It was the longest foreplay I’ve ever seen.”

So does that mean that Bill and Sookie are officially finito? “It comes down to whether Sookie can forgive Bill for his past, though I think she realizes that he made some of his mistakes trying to protect her. She might be able to forgive him, but the idea of seeing herself together with him is something else.

Moyer hints that Bill partisans have reason to take heart. “The great thing about our show is that it gives you what you want. It might not give you what you want for very long, but it does eventually give everyone what they want at some point.

Show us your Bill love, and tell us what you think about Bill Compton this season by leaving your comments below.

Rachelle Lefevre calls her co-star Stephen Moyer hilarious

Rachelle Lefevre spoke with Shockya.com about The Caller and asked her what her working relationship with Stephen Moyer was like.

Rachelle: It was the best, he’s absolutely hilarious. He’s really funny and incredibly smart. He has a great sense of humor, so I was really laughing all the time. It was funny, because we were in a very difficult, very grueling and intense movie, and between takes (we’d be laughing), except for scenes where it was too hard to come out of it and we stayed in it. But there were a lot of scenes that weren’t as intense, or we’d take a break and laugh a lot. He’s really, really nice and has one of the best senses of humor I’ve ever encountered.

Charity Auction for Stephen Moyer’s Kids Theatre Fund of signed True Blood DVD and CD

Lynn’s place is starting to look like a True Blood storage room, so it’s time to make some space and auction off some more fabulous True Blood goodies.

This week we are raising funds for the Stephen Moyer Kids Theatre Fund of Brentwood Theatre. The money raised with this auction will be used to bring children to see the Christmas show of Brentwood Theatre, which this year is Jemima Puddle-Duck and her friends. We all know and love the stories of Beatrix Potter and this colorful musical tells four of them: Jemima Puddle-Duck, the tale of Squirrel Nutkin, the tale of Jeremy Fisher and the tale of Samuel Whiskers.

Auction for Brentwood Theatre:

- True Blood Season 1 DVD signed by Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Joe Manganiello, Sam Trammell, Ashley Jones, Kristin Bauer, Todd Lowe, Nelsan Ellis, Allan Hyde, Jim Parrack and Deborah Ann Woll
- True Blood Original Soundtrack Volume 2 CD signed by Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Joe Manganiello, Sam Trammell, Kristin Bauer, Allan Hyde, Jim Parrack and Deborah Ann Woll

Brentwood Theatre is a British non-profit organization and therefore we have to auction this item on the British eBay charity website. Convert the currency here.

Visit the auction listing and place your bid: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/130565184308

The auction ends on August 27, 2011.

Special thanks to SterlingSilverCharm for donating the items.
