Charity Auction of Original Andy Swist Art Work signed by Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer
We are excited to announce a very special, one of a kind auction item to benefit Facing The Atlantic/Facing The World. Facing The World? Yes, the British organization that separated the twins who were born joined at the head, you may have heard about it in the news. If not, you can read about it here.
Earlier this year we invited graphic artist Andy Swist to create unique art work to auction off for charity. Andy immediately set to work and created 3 amazing pieces of original art, the first of which goes on auction today.
Andy Swist is a New York based illustrator and graphic designer, best known in the True Blood fandom for the Bloodwork True Blood vlogs he does together with husband Brian and the True Blood paperdoll collection.
Stephen and Anna both signed the art work. Stephen posed with it before his missus signed it, so in this photo it only has his autograph. Stephen told us that he thinks that “the Andy pictures are amazing”. And we totally agree with him!

Mia Kirshner set to play Stephen Moyer’s wife in The Barrens
Mia Kirshner (The L Word, The Vampire Diaries) has joined the cast of The Barrens and will play Stephen Moyer‘s wife in the upcoming horror film directed by Darren Bousman. Other new cast members are Erik Knudsen (Scream 4, Saw II) and J Larose (Insidious, Saw III).
In the film, which begins filming in Toronto next week, Kirshner and Moyer plays Cynthia and Richard Marlow, a couple who takes their stepdaughter and young son on a camping trip in New Jersey’s famous Pine Barrens. But trouble ensues when Richard falls ill, and suddenly grows convinced that his family’s being hunted by the Pine Barren’s infamous “resident,” a beast known only as the Jersey Devil.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are scheduled to appear at the Point Honors Scholarship event that takes place this Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Los Angeles, California at the Jim Henson Studios. The award show will be hosted by Joel McHale, NBC’s Community and E! Entertainment’s The Soup.
HBO sponsors an award called the “Point Inspiration Award.” This award recognizes a corporation or organization that champions respect and inclusion of the LGBT community and operates with the vision that investing in today’s potential will produce a brighter tomorrow.
