This past season on True Blood has been a really tough one for Bill lovers like ourselves.  By the end of season 5, it was difficult to find much to love about “Billith.”  However, we are not in despair and refuse to assume that Billith is all that’s left of our romantic, mainstreaming, gorgeous vampire, Bill Compton.

Therefore, we wish to remember him as we know he is, one who is unique among all the vampires because of his capacity for sympathy, kindness and generosity and we salute him on this day of “love.”

Two years ago, the Billsbabes showed their love to our favorite vampire, Bill Compton when the times were good and he was so easy to love. Since Valentine’s Day is upon us, we thought it would be nice to, once again, give Bill Compton our valentine. Of course, this requires that we ask Stephen Moyer to pass it on to Bill for us, but we’re pretty sure he will comply and, by default he gets some lovin’, too!

The video below that was created by ThelLou back between seasons 2 and 3, with some art direction from Lynnpd and Willkill4Bill, is the valentine we created for Bill Compton. The song you hear is “You Go To My Head” and is sung by the great Billie Holiday, To quote WillKill4Bill, “This song is so descriptive of how we feel for Bill that it could have been written for us, and after it was recorded by Billie Holiday, it should have been off limits for anyone else to record.”
