Alexander Skarsgård says “Bill is Back in True Blood Season 6!”
VERY MILD SPOILERS!
True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård was asked a couple of questions while he was at the Sundance Film Festival promoting his new film, “The East” over the weekend.
The questions were:
What can you tell us about Season 6 so far? Alexander Skarsgård: I’ve only gotten the first two scripts, but from what I’ve read, it’s good stuff so far.
What should we expect? AS: There’s a big war coming up — a big war.
Will Bill be back? AS: Bill will be back, yes.
In the same form in which we’ve come to know him? AS: Ah, that I can’t say. I can’t say. But it will be good.
Good news, I’d say. As expected, Alex didn’t say too much, but we can read into what he said to conclude that we will see Bill in some form in Season 6, and that we will see a big war?
I”m glad Bill will be back in Season 6, but I wonder what shape he will show us? And, what is the war about? Any ideas? Leave a comment below letting us know what you think!
Oh yeah, Bill will be back. He'll be a real warrior-god, IMHO, and give Eric and everyone else a run for their money.
The question for me is, how long will that last, and what further changes will happen to him this season?
Bill has immense changes every season. He is the most complex, complicated and fascinating character on TB. Of course last season was truly transformative, to say the least. I'm sure we'll see more change this season.
As long as we see a lot of him, I'll be watching. We can't get enough Bill!
All roads lead to Bill as far as I am concerned so if he were a no show then so am I and I am not alone. There would be a mass exodus and HBO knows it.. I'm hoping somehow magically our beautiful Vampire King is restored as much as possible to his former glorious self however I will take Bill anyway I can get him .
As Sookie once said to Bill and she unknowingly spoke for a great many of us as well.
Sookie: I would not be satisfied. Not one bit.
Bill: What do you want, Sookie? Say it.
Sookie: I want you. Every which way. I just want you.
I'm forbidden to elaborate further for propriety's sake and the risk of being banned from this site :) but suffice it to say compared to my desire for Bill, Sookie's obsession with him looks like a school girl crush.
I figured Bill would be back ... the question for me is will he remain in the bloody vampire god incarnation for all of Season 6. Here's hoping not!! As far as the war goes ... humans against vamps. The fae will mix in there somewhere, maybe siding with the humans, or fighting their own separate battle against vamps and humans.
